Baileys® Truffles


Description:

These are soooooooooooooo delicious, but be prepared to get messy when you make them. :)

Ingredients:

Truffle:

1/2 cup whipping cream
1/4 cup butter
3 tablespoons sugar
8 ounces semi-sweet chocolate, chopped (8 squares)
1/4 cup Baileys®

Coatings:

Chocolate wafer crumbs, grated chocolate, finely chopped nuts, flaked coconut, chocolate sprinkles, coloured sprinkles, cocoa, icing sugar.

Directions:

1. Combine cream, butter and sugar in medium saucepan. Bring to a boil over medium heat. Remove from heat.

2. Add chocolate, stirring until completely melted. Stir in Baileys. Chill mixture until firm, about 4 hours or overnight.

3. Shape mixture into balls and roll in coatings of your choice, to cover thoroughly. Chill. Store in airtight container in refrigerator.
Makes 5 dozens.
