News of our trip

OMG where has the month gone, and the summer, 'tis the last day of August already!!!! Time goes by soooooooooooo darned fast doesn't it.

Well, I've been away from blogging for a week...............and during that time, we went to a wedding in Whitby, Ontario. Our nephew/godson was getting married. The picture is of the happy couple after they did the deed.......

As you can see, the wedding was help outdoors, the location was facing lake Ontario, great spot, and luckily mother nature cooperated. A great time was had by all.

I drove the 5 hours to get there and most of the way back, which took a bit longer, due to bad weather. Dear little Tara was being babysat at home by a friend, and we both missed her.

As nice as it was to go away for a couple of days it sure was nice to come back home. We are just homebodies the both of us, and we'd rather stay home and do out thing rather than travel. To each his own, right?  

Tony took an extra day of vacation on Monday, and we both rested, well not entirely, we had a whole bunch of washing to do......lol, and some shopping, but other than that, just a quiet day.

I saw my gynocologist this week for the 6 week's checkup. And he said everything was healing nicely. When I told him of the pain I had on the right hand side, when I bent and got the sharp pain, he said it was muscular - I frankly am doubtful, but time will tell, if the pain hangs around, then we'll have to see what it is. I am supposed to go and see him in 6 months for another checkup.

Other than that, there isn't a lot happening here, except that Tony's birthday is coming up :)
